Ausocalypse will shake the Musicman Megastore in Bendigo to its very foundations with what is arguably its biggest line-up ever! The fourth instalment of this annual event from Megaton Music strikes the day after Australia Day, smack in the middle of the long weekend. 25 bands from all over Australia will play three stages for this all-day event!

Topping the bill are Power Metal titans Vanishing Point, and Australia’s premier symphonic legends Divine Ascension. Both bands have international status, having toured Europe extensively with the likes of Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius and Gloryhammer.

For those looking for something a little harder, Witchgrinder will rip the Musicman’s punters a new one with their energetic, horror-infused performances! Meanwhile, the Thrash contingent is well-represented with the stalwarts Envenomed, and Western Australians Remission who made their first Melbourne appearance at Metal United Down Under earlier this year.

There’s plenty more melodic Metal on the bill, with WA fielding Folk Metal giants Claim the Throne, who recently supported Wintersun, and Melbourne’s rising stars Trigger, who supported Anvil, also in the mix.

There are plenty of other local and interstate bands on the bill to check out, so whether you live around the corner in Bendigo, or it’s time to make a road trip, DO NOT miss this stellar event which is sure to be one of the biggest all-Australian festivals of the year!

On top of all that, there’s going to be a guitar shred-off competition!

Location: Musicman Megastore Bendigo, 264 Hargreaves Street, Bendigo
