Brisbane prog rock/metal band Mercurious have launched their first track ‘Frog Prince’, following their debut live performance at New Globe Theatre this past Friday night.

Frog Prince is catchy genre mashing rock. It follows the tragic story of a young man, the “frog prince”, who is not quite sure how to express his interest in women, feels a bit lonely and awkward, and so he doesn’t ever get that kiss and remains a frog. A lot of young men will relate – everybody else just gets a nice earworm.

The video was shot at the band’s regular rehearsal room at Redstar Music, and the band are currently focusing on writing, with the aim of a full release coming in 2018.
