‘Through Wilderness’ is the debut full-length from San Jose-based death/doom unit, MORTUOUS, featuring within its maniacal ranks past and present members of Autopsy, Exhumed, Repulsion, Necrot, Atrament, and others. In advance of its release next month, today Decibel is offering up The Dead Yet Dream for public consumption.
Offers drummer Chad Gailey of the track, “The Dead Yet Dream is one of our favorite tracks from ‘Through Wilderness’, because we got to work with three very influential people to make this song come to fruition. Chris Reifert and Danny Coralles from Autopsy and Matt Harvey of Exhumed. Each one of them brought their own personality onto the track which lead to extremely killer results. Between Matt’s lyrical imagery, Danny’s haunting solo, and Chris’ iconic screams, we feel like this song has a bit of everything to offer any true fan of death metal.”
