An opportunity to reach deep inside himself, Xander expresses and comes to terms with his insecurities and doubts in ‘Into The Mist’.

“It’s about having no fear and being bold in every decision we make. Often in life, you get a lot of crap dished out at you, a lot of setbacks or things that make you feel like you’re not good enough or like you haven’t really got it together,” said Xander.

“I wrote this song as inspiration to not let that bog you down, and just keep pushing through with things.”

The writing process for the title-track of the EP, Into The Mist came a upside down for Xander after collaborating with Aaron Shanahan of Miami Horror.

“The instrumental for this track came first; I was able to jam with Aaron before he left for Berlin and he really pushed me out of my comfort zone. We ended up something really solid, and lyrics to came super naturally,” said Xander.

“I just love Xander’s voice and the originality he’s bringing to his music. We don’t often see such a unique take at such a tender age. With every release from this young talent, I’m more impressed.”
