TOTTY have moved from strength to strength in the past year. The Wollongong trio recently announced their new label home, Ratbag Records (Dune Rats, Skegss, Pandamic) who will be releasing their debut EP Cut The Poppies’ out this Friday, 25 May.

TOTTY are stoked to announce they’ll be hitting the road in July and August for the Cut The Poppies EP Tour showcasing songs from the EP.

‘Cut The Poppies’ EP features Uncomfortable, the infectious lead single about relationships throughout life whether they are romantic or otherwise. It’s also about learning to communicate and to listen to other’s feelings. The single has received radio additions on triple j, Unearthed, featured on Spotify tastemaker playlists and the video was featured as Rage’s Wild One.

They gained recognition shortly after their inception in 2017 and continued to grow as a strong touring band as they accompanied acts such as Ruby Fields and Skegss on sold-outs dates around the country supporting singles, SIGH and RIFF.

Describing themselves as “Dog loving, 90’s fanatics”, Kelly, Chris and Max began working together after meeting through their previous bands and sharing love for all things fuzzy and furry. TOTTY recorded their EP in the backyard shed of Kelly’s house before taking their work to the Grove Studios for completion, being mixed by the bands own Chris Peruch. The result is the sound of a band comfortable in their work environment yet confident in taking the next step in their career.
