German metal band Walking Dead On Broadway have released their new single ‘Gospel Of The KiGuitarist Michael Kalusche about ‘Gospel Of The Kingdom’:
“After having addressed the dirty laws and agreements of submission to the death machine with the first single ‘Hostage To The Empire’, in ‘Gospel Of The Kingdom’ they get turned upside down. The song of domination sung backwards changes into the promise of freedom – a victory to end all victories.”

Broadway is known as the heart of the American theatre industry and is often used synonym for superior and critical entertainment. Walking Dead On Broadway pursue the idea of fierce and unbiased art. Brought to life in late 2009, the quintet focuses on vast deathcore-sounds and disenchanted lyrics. Following 2012’s Mini-CD “Welcome to Corpse Wonderland”, “Aeshma” marked the debut album of this quintet from Leipzig, Germany.
The Band continued their journey and played 2015 a lot of festivals like With Full Force, Summer Blast, Wacken and many more. They were also part of big tours with Suicide Silence, Caliban, Eskimo Callboy and Whitechapel. After a short break from live gigs the band took their time to write a new full length called “Slaves “which was released in November 2016 via Nuclear Blast / Arising Empire.
In the year 2017 the band had their first headliner tour with their new album “Slaves”. The tour took place in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France. Big festivals were also a big part of touring in 2017. In October 2017 the band and the singer Robert Horn decided to part ways.
After a search for a new singer for the new material they found Nils Richber as the perfect missing piece of the puzzle. Since November 2017 he is playing single shows with the band and tours during the Europe Tour 2018 with Within Destruction. He became a full band member during this time. While touring the band never stopped writing new stuff so they could complete the studio work in April 2018. “Dead Era” is the name of their third studio record which is about twitching skeletons in the closet of history, which ultimately never were dead and drops in September via Long Branch Records worldwide.
“Dead Era” is a synonym for their musical evolution because of the deathcore roots of the band. This chapter will be closed with this album.
