Starting out as the result of former members of Francis DolarhydeState of East London, Electrik Dynamite, Goodbye Armadale, Arpejio and The Dream the Chase coming together, Dream On, Dreamer released their debut EP ‘Set Sail, Amarda’ on July 3rd 2009. Second EP ‘Hope’ was released in 2010, as Dream On, Dreamer went on to support Pierce the Veil in both Australia and New Zealand later that year.

Dream On, Dreamer made their debut festival appearance at 2011’s Push Over Festival, before releasing debut album ‘Heartbound’ in August AND replacing Sevendust as main support for Avenged Sevenfold’s Australian tour the same year. At this stage, things seemed to be going quite smoothly… a little too smoothly, in fact. The musical gods deemed it was time for original bassist and clean vocalist Michael “McCoy” McLeod to leave the band towards the end of 2012. This resulted in keyboard / pianist Daniel Jungwirth picking up bass duties. Fate seemed that this wasn’t enough of a curveball for Dream On, Dreamer as rhythm guitarist Luke Domic left RIGHT before the release of second album ‘Loveless’ mid 2013. Thankfully Britt filled the void and has been a vital member ever since!

Between the release of second album ‘Loveless’ and third album ‘Songs of Soulitude,’ Dream On, Dreamer had two more founding members leave. First Jungwirth left in early 2014 being replaced with Shaw, before drummer Aaron Fiocca made way for Kuiper in early 2015. There were also a few positives to happen in this period, one of which was appearing on the line-up for Soundwave Festival 2014. Thankfully that slowly revolving door of band members leaving has come to a standstill, as Dream On, Dreamer have been running steady with the same line-up since Kuiper joined!

Fast forward to present day 2018 and Dream On, Dreamer are riding high on the May release of fourth album ‘It Comes and Goes’ and the headline tour around Australia that went alongside it. At this stage there are no shows booked between now and Unify, so this can only mean one thing; come Unify 2019, they will be exploding onto that stage and making every second count! You can guarantee that you will be hearing about this set all around the campsite.
