Drown This City are a new breed of heavy post-hardcore music with all the firepower in their arsenal to make noise, and their determined, focused and angry in all the right ways.

Within 12 months of being together, Drown This City put out there debut 5-track EP, False Idols, which was widely praised upon release. They also sold out their first ever live show at Melbourne’s Workers Club and were invited to play Rolling Stone’s Live Lodge event series. Drown This City’s first 12 months also saw them support Falling In Reverse, Lacuna Coil and Capture The Crown, and they also played alongside Northlane, Violent Soho, Thy Art Is Murder and Polaris at last year’s Unify Gathering.

With their lineup and their unique and highly developed sound, Drown This City are living a new paradigm, and through their music, live show and film clips they are breaking down walls of expectation. They are breaking trends in heavy music around genre and showing what can be achieved through willpower and determination.
