Finnish blackened death metal powerhouse, Archgoat, are releasing their fourth studio album, ‘The Luciferian Crown’, and we here at Overdrive Music Magazine are very proud to present the premiere of the band’s new album in its entirety below. Check it out!

Guitarist, Ritual Butcherer, had this to say when speaking of the album:

What is your favourite song on the album?

“I really don’t want to pull one song from the album as my favorite. This album is a whole unity in a sense, like a book. It just does not make sense or does justice to judge which is the best chapter in this book when you lose the whole story and the atmosphere the previous song created for the next one to follow. But there are many elements and little nuances I really; like the third riff on the title song that I ‘specially wanted to blast without vocals on them.”

Who would you say your biggest influences are, musically?

“This question I have been asked really too often. Way too often. During adolescence when my journey really was only starting, I really listened a lot to Slayer, Celtic Frost, Carcass, and Possessed. These bands really changed my DNA as it turned out during my life and for where it has brought me. Today, my current favorite bands are Slayer, Celtic Frost, Carcass, and Possessed.”

What do you hope people take away from your album?

“I would really hope that people take the time to listen to the music and read the lyrics because this is the way this album was meant to be listened. Not music alone or lyrics but marrying them together into one concept.”
