“The album’s influences are so diverse, spanning the gamut from classic blues-rock to 1990s mathcore to zeitgeisty blackgaze, yet it’s all integrated together so deftly that nothing feels out of place.” — Invisible Oranges
Experimental hardcore trio SUNFLO’ER will unleash their anticipated ‘No Hell’ full-length this Friday. In advance of its release, Invisible Oranges is offering up an exclusive premiere of the record in its absorbing entirety issuing of the sonic journey, “The album’s influences are so diverse, spanning the gamut from classic blues-rock to 1990s mathcore to zeitgeisty blackgaze, yet it’s all integrated together so deftly that nothing feels out of place…. SUNFLO’ER are remorseless executioners, beheading melodies and phrases mere seconds after they are introduced, yet despite the band leaping madly from progression to progression, there are plenty of head-bobbing grooves to be found within the record’s ten tracks. The songs are largely jagged and disjointed, shifting direction with an athlete’s agility, but when SUNFLO’ER decides to lay down the jams, they commit with buckets of passion.”
