Eligibility: Following are the eligibility criteria for getting admission in MIT’s Aerospace Engineering programme:
- The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate(HSC) examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and Technical Vocational subjects.
- Students who are in the open category should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with English as a compulsory subject. For Scheduled Castes(SC), Scheduled Tribes(ST) and Other Backward Classes(OBC), the minimum eligibility marks is 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Along with this, aspiring candidates must have cleared at least one engineering examination such as JEE Mains or MHT-CET. Other states’ entrance examinations, Uni-GAUGE-E or PERA are also considered for admission. Reserved candidates need to fulfil the rules and regulations of the Maharashtra Government regarding the caste validity certificate.
Step 1: The required candidates have to register online at the official website and enter the necessary details along with the preferred course and branch. Submit the application form with the required fees through the online payment gateway.
Step 2:Based on the result of MHT CET or other states’ entrance examinations or Uni-GAUGE-E or PERA exams, the merit list shall be decided and conveyed to the students. After the candidate receives the confirmation mail for admission, the necessary amount of fees has to be paid via NEFT/RTGS or Demand Draft/Cheque.
Step 3: After the result declaration of Higher Secondary Certificate(HSC) examinations, candidates have to forward a scanned copy of their mark sheets at firstname.lastname@example.org within eight days.
